PICKLEBALL LEVEL GUIDE

2.0 pickleball level.

At 2.0, you are learning how the court works and beginning to turn basic contact into a playable rally.

What a 2.0 player can do

Players are learning the rules, basic scoring, ready position, and forehand or backhand contact. Rallies are short, but the goal is clear: get comfortable keeping the ball in play.

What to practice next

Build a repeatable serve and return, move back to ready position after each shot, and practice gentle dinks without trying to do too much. The next level is about keeping more balls in play.
