BUILD YOUR SERVING

Corner serve ladder.

Build a repeatable serve before you chase precision. This ladder gives every ball a purpose without turning your warm-up into a scorecard.

What this drill builds

Land serves in a generous target, then make the target smaller only when your motion feels automatic.

Set up

One player serves from the baseline. Your partner stands safely beyond the opposite baseline to collect and feed balls back. Place a cone two feet inside each return-box corner.

Make the rep useful

Common miss: Aiming at the line before you can repeat the same motion.

A good rep: Four of five landing in the target with the same calm tempo.

The takeaway

A reliable, placed serve starts the point on your terms and keeps you from handing your opponent an easy return.
