BUILD YOUR POINT MANAGEMENT

One-ball reset routine.

The point after an error often matters more than the error itself. Build a short routine that brings you back to the next ball.

What this drill builds

Use a breath, a physical reset, and one simple cue between points.

Set up

Play short rally points. After every point, both players pause for three seconds before the next serve.

Make the rep useful

Common miss: Replaying the last point while the next serve is already happening.

A good rep: You feel your attention return to the present before each new point.

The takeaway

A short between-point reset prevents one error from following you into the next point, keeping your attention on the ball in front of you.
