BUILD YOUR TRANSITION GAME
Reset your way in.
The transition zone rewards patience. A reset can buy you the time that a rushed drive takes away.

What this drill builds
Use one or two controlled resets to move from the baseline to the kitchen without sprinting through trouble.
Set up
Both players begin behind opposite baselines. B feeds deep; then B moves to the kitchen position while A works through controlled resets.
Make the rep useful
Common miss: Treating the transition zone as a place to run through.
A good rep: You reach the kitchen after two or three calm, intentional balls.
The takeaway
Patient resets turn a difficult transition ball into time and space, helping you earn the kitchen instead of racing through trouble.
